Effective January 1, 2025, NASA Corp. International assumed the registrar’s function for the IETCC CoPC programs and the IETCC Continuous Learning Program.

NASA Corp., as an authorized registrar for the IETCC Certificate of Personnel Competence (CoPC) program, provides a formal credential assessment service for:

• Individuals with equivalent training and qualifications (CSA, CWB, API, AMPP etc.) requesting competency recognition; or
• Past CPA Council credential holders seeking reinstatement after a renewal lapse.

• Transcript development or update under IETCC record management system
• Full review of submitted training, qualification, and experience records for a decision on a presumption of competency
• Eligibility determination for CoPC level; or a detailed list of requirements to attain a CoPC
• Issuance of a CoPC valid for 3 years if successful

The fee for a Personnel Competency Assessment/Reinstatement is $450 + GST

• If successful: the fee includes your CoPC credential and registration (valid 3 years)
• If additional training is required:
  You will receive a $400 CAD credit toward any NASA Corp. CoPC training program
• If a credential is required:
  You will receive a $200 USD credit toward a CPA Council challenge exam fee

Once your application is received you will receive a request for supporting documentation.
This request will be issued within 5 business days. The following are examples of the types of documentation that may be requested:

• Certificates of training completion (e.g. CSA, CASTI, company training record)
• Copies of current tickets or qualification records (e.g. CWB, AMPP, API)
• Résumé (CV)
• Letters of endorsement or reference
• Job task checklists or role descriptions

Note: In preparing your document package you may limit any training and experience records to the past 10 years.
